If a timber post has rotted at the base and snapped then often a repair can be carried out.
Timber posts mainly fail 50mm below and 50mm above ground.
- Fence stays in-situ
- Underground concrete mechanically removed
- Often repair can be carried out on just your side
- Choice of size – 100mm or 75mm
- Choice of steel or concrete
- Less expensive than post replacement
- On traditional arris rails fencing the timber posts cannot be easily replaced. In these cases 100mm concrete spurs are an ideal solution.
- Often can be fitted to gate posts
See below for some example of in-situ post repairs.
